Asthama: I am not at all a medical doctor or otherwise a specialist on the subject. However, I have never heard about people being accepted in the Legion with asthma.

It is OK that you do sport and have no problems in your daily life, but do you sincerely think that the Legion is going to take a risk on you having a crisis during the most inconvenient moment? The Legion can (and will) send you anywhere in the world, from the desert to the Arctic via the Amazon jungle. They are not going to send somebody that could have a major breathing deficiency at the wrong moment.
Why do you guys think that the Legion will make any exceptions to any kind of medical disorder you may have? STOP right here, they won't, they will however make exceptions concerning your criminal past and they don't care at all about what nationality you are but that's where the free ride stops. You have to be medically fit, no exceptions and given the competition with the sheer numbers that they have to choose from, you had better be reasonably fit sport wise.
The Legion at the end of the day is a professional army and not the Salvation Army.
if you've a nervous disorder such as epylepsy don't join....ashtma will also disqualify you and colour blindness is also borderline...just make sure you can distinguish red and green and also blue as preferred ops colours
however knock knee is not a big problem.
